My 5 Senses
Kindergarten will be studying their 5 senses. They have been introduced to the topic the past 2 weeks. Over the course of the next few weeks Kindergarten will be testing their sense of touch, smell, taste, sight, and hearing. They will discuss things we taste, like sour, sweet, salty, bitter, etc. They will test their sense of smell by using their nose to identify objects without looking at them. Each class will use their sense of touch to describe objects without being able to see them. They will test their sense of hearing by listening to what's around them and describe what they hear, not see. Finally, each class will test their sense of sight by placing objects into categories, ie: color, size, texture. etc.
